Pesto Pasta Night 201 Round up

This week I was hosting the Pesto Pasta Nights 201. First time I am hosting this event. Actually this event was a wonderful experience for me. I would like to thank Ruth for giving me this opportunity. I was thinking i will post at least 2 pasta recipe this week. I was able to post one. Another one I will post next week and send to next Pesto Pasta Nights :)

Multi shape pasta in Tamarind sauce

 This pasta is actually different from all pasta usually I prepare. You can say actually this sauce is different. This sauce is inspired by the Thai pad noodle sauce. which uses this type of sauce.

This week I am hosting Pesto Pasta Night #201. This pasta recipe goes to this event

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup pasta of different shapes

1 onion chopped

1 cup mixed chopped vegetable(broccoli, carrot, spring onion, beans etc)

10 garlic clove chopped

1 tps chilly sauce

salt according to taste

olive oil

for tamarind sauce

1  tps soy sauce

1 tps tamarind paste

1 tps brown sugar

1 tps mixed herbs

1 tps oregano

2 tps water

method

for sauce mix soy sauce, tamarind paste, chilly sauce, brown sugar, salt . add little water and mix well.
heat water in a sauce pan. add little water and salt. add pastas of different shapes in that and let it boil for 3-4 minutes until pasta is cooked properly. drain the water and keep it aside.

heat oil in a pan. add all chopped veg in the pan . and saute for 3  minutes.

add sauce mix in the pan. mix well.

add pasta in the pan and mix well.

add oregano, mixed herbs and salt if required. mix it and saute for few more minutes.

serve hot
